Job summary

Safran seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Project Coordinator for the Dubai site to pilot the maturity journey of the Manufacturing Engineering discipline across all projects. The role defines the Dubai maturity roadmap, from Qualifying to Bronze and beyond, and supports the future Dubai Manufacturing Engineering Manager(s) as their hands-on assistant through the ramp-up.

Key tasks include deploying the One Safran handbook and KPI systems, coordinating QRQC routines, and benchmarking practices

Qualifications

• Experience in methods engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering in industrial or aerospace settings.
• Familiarity with assembly routings, time studies, workstation/design, and line balancing principles.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in aerospace or a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Pilot the maturity deployment of the Manufacturing Engineering discipline at the Dubai site, ensuring state-of-the-art processes and One Safran standards are implemented.
• Define and maintain the Dubai Manufacturing Engineering maturity roadmap (Qualifying, Bronze, and beyond) aligned with One Safran grids.
• Deploy and maintain the One Safran Manufacturing Engineering handbook, KPI dashboards, and QRQC methodology at Dubai.
• Report maturity progress and KPIs to the Manufacturing Engineering BPM/BPO and act as the reference for ME topics in Dubai.
• Coach and support the future Dubai Manufacturing Engineering Manager(s) during ramp-up and build team maturity.
