Job summary

Atlantis The Royal seeks a knowledgeable Sommelier for Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in Dubai. This role involves curating exceptional wine experiences and overseeing the wine program while collaborating with top culinary teams.

A strong candidate will have experience in luxury dining, a WSET certification, and must be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. Competitive, tax-free compensation is offered along with other benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sommelier in a luxury fine-dining restaurant or 5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Old World and New World wines, with expertise in pairing wine with complex dishes.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the wine list in collaboration with the Assistant General Manager and Beverage Director.
• Manage wine procurement, stock rotation, and cellar organization in line with restaurant standards.
• Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings tailored to guests' preferences and dishes.
• Conduct wine tastings, training sessions, and workshops for restaurant staff.
