Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai DIFC is seeking a Reservations Agent to handle incoming requests, changes and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail. You will verify availability, suggest suitable room types and rates, and communicate policies with guests to ensure smooth bookings.

As part of a luxury hospitality team, you will input data accurately in the reservation system, accommodate special requests, and maintain confidentiality while upholding The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Input and access data in reservation system and document special requests.
• Follow all company policies; maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team to reach goals.
