Job summary

Best Option Trading in Dubai invites a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will support daily accounting operations, maintain records, manage AP/AR, and assist with VAT tasks in a fast-paced trading environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, UAE familiarity, and proficiency with Excel and common accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books. A relevant degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• UAE accounting experience preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, ERP).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Manage invoices, receipts, payments, purchase records, and sales documentation.
• Handle AP and AR activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Assist with supplier payments and account reconciliations.
• Support UAE VAT calculations and VAT returns.
• Maintain organized accounting records and financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing and basic financial reporting.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on financial matters.
