AL MAIMANA Accounting & Bookkeeping seeks an experienced Internal Auditor with a strong contracting background to review financial and operational processes in our Dubai office.

The role focuses on evaluating internal controls, ensuring policy compliance, and reducing financial risk across project costing, procurement, and subcontractor transactions. Arabic language skills are mandatory; English proficiency is required to communicate with management.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/auditing or related field.
• Mandatory internal audit experience.
• Experience in contracting/construction company required.
• Strong understanding of project costing and procurement.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• Arabic-speaking is mandatory; English working knowledge is required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular internal audits of financial and operational processes.
• Review transactions, payments, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Audit project costs, subcontractor payments, and payroll.
• Assess procurement and payment controls for policy compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, errors, and fraud risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Follow up with departments to close audit observations.
