UOW Global Enterprises (UOWGE) in Dubai seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to join the Commercial & Legal team. You will handle a broad portfolio of contracts, governance, compliance, and advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions, reporting to the General Counsel.

The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, building legal playbooks, supporting governance and company secretarial duties, and driving AI-enabled legal operations and process improvements for the UOWGE

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Law with PQE 5+ years in commercial contracts and advisory roles.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements.
• Experience providing practical legal advice across business matters.
• In-house experience and cross-jurisdictional exposure are highly regarded.
• Arabic language proficiency is required.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Provide practical, risk-based legal advice to stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Support contract lifecycle management, templates, and governance processes.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters and coordinate external counsel when needed.
• Develop legal playbooks, guidance, precedents, and self-service resources.
• Assist with governance, compliance, and company secretarial duties and monitor regulatory developments.
