Job summary

Alibaba Cloud seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to oversee fire protection systems and safety compliance across sites in the Dubai region. You will drive inspections, corrective actions, training initiatives, and continuous improvement in fire safety management.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related fire safety field.
At least 1 year of experience in fire safety management in a large enterprise/data center.
Strong knowledge of fire protection standards and data center fire safety.
Familiarity with fire safety laws and standards in the region.
Proficiency in English; Arabic or Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspect fire protection systems across sites in the region; coordinate corrective actions and closure of issues.
Develop and review regional fire safety inspection checklists and corrective action tracking.
Deliver fire safety training to on-site personnel and organize emergency drills.
Monitor compliance status and maintain records and reports.
Lead investigations of fire incidents and prepare root cause analyses and preventive actions.
