Job summary

HR Groups is seeking a Safety Officer for UAE construction sites to lead day-to-day safety, issue PTWs, and run toolbox talks. You will develop risk assessments and investigations to ensure a safe project environment.

Ideal candidates hold NEBOSH IGC, Trakhees/SARS accreditation, and 5 years of UAE site experience with a degree in Safety or Engineering. You will ensure compliance with local codes and maintain safety logs, liaising with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Valid Trakhees / SARS Accreditation Card is required.
• Up to 5 years of UAE construction site Safety Officer experience under Trakhees.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety or Engineering.
• Knowledge of local safety codes, strong audit reporting, and emergency response management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site safety, issue Work Permits (PTW) and conduct Daily Toolbox Talks.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, and incident accident investigations.
• Ensure all site activities comply with Trakhees, PCFC regulations, Dubai Municipality, and civil defense requirements.
• Liaise with client representatives and authority inspectors during site audits.
• Maintain project HSE documentation, safety logs, and compliance records.
