Job summary

ABU ALNAGA DEVELOPMENT is seeking an experienced Procurement & Accounts Officer for its construction projects in Dubai. The role covers procurement, accounts payable/receivable, job costing, and project cost control.

You will liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, manage POs, and support monthly closing and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with construction software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in procurement and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, AP/AR, and project cost control.
• Experience with suppliers, subcontractors, POs, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Assist with subcontractor billing, and lien waiver documentation.
