Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai, UAE is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyze data and support bidding processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or QS, 3+ years of estimating experience, proficiency in CCS Candy or similar tools, and strong analytical skills. UAE National consideration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or QS.
• CPE certification preferred.
• UAE National Only.
• Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficiency in CCS Candy or similar estimating software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors and other departments to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain a database of bids and cost information.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdowns.
• Identify risks and opportunities within project estimates.
