Job summary

ADIB in Dubai seeks a Collection Specialist to manage past due accounts, negotiate settlements, and guide customers in restructuring their finances. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, plus solid banking sector knowledge in the UAE.

You will work with the collections team to meet monthly targets, document activities accurately, and adhere to bank policies and SOPs while assisting walk-in customers with compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years relevant experience in banking.
• Collection experience preferable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Awareness of UAE Central Bank rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of UAE banking sector.

Responsibilities

• Resolve past due accounts by contacting debtors by phone and written correspondence.
• Ensure that the assigned monthly target is achieved.
• Perform various administrative functions related to assigned accounts.
• Negotiate payment settlements and reschedules per established guidelines.
• Document all customer activities timely in the collections system.
• Provide guidance to customers to manage finances and restructures/debts.
• Attend and resolve customer complaints within the defined turnaround time.
