Zahr Freighters, a leading logistics and freight forwarding company, is looking for a responsible and detail-orientedCashierto join our finance team inDubai. This role plays a vital part in managing day-to-day cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in payments and receipts, and maintaining financial integrity across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions, including receiving and disbursing payments.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.
• Assist in maintaining petty cash and processing reimbursements.
• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely deposits and accurate records.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash handling.
• Provide customer support for billing and payment inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Accounting or Finance is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or finance-related role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
• Strong numerical and organizational skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
