Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai is seeking a cash-ready cashier to join our team. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar position and involves handling customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

You will greet customers, scan items, receive payments, issue receipts, and maintain a clean checkout area while answering questions about store policies. Salary is 1700 AED per month with benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash register operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately scan items for purchase.
• Receive payment in the form of cash, credit card, or check.
• Count money in the register drawer to ensure that amounts are correct.
• Compute and record totals of transactions.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding store policies and services.
• Monitor customer traffic and call for additional assistance when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout area.
