Job summary

Caliberly in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee procurement for engineering, equipment and construction packages during project execution. You will prepare bid documentation, manage vendor communication, evaluate proposals and support award recommendations for mining processing plant packages.

The role requires 8–12 years of procurement experience, with 6–8 years in mining EPC/metals/mineral processing. Global vendor management and strong RFP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of procurement experience.
• Minimum 6–8 years in mining EPC / metals / mineral processing plants.
• Experience with processing equipment and construction packages.
• Ability to manage a global vendor base.
• Strong understanding of the RFP cycle, bid evaluation, and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for mining equipment, spare parts, consumables, and services; Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and purchase orders; Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and value optimization.
• Project Support: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material and equipment requirements; Ensure timely procurement to support project schedules; Track and expedite orders to meet milestones.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with local and international vendors; Monitor supplier performance; Conduct supplier audits and evaluations.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements; Maintain records; Support audits.
• Cost & Risk Management: Analyze market trends and pricing to forecast budgets; Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigations; Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.
