Job summary

RIG Recruitment is partnering with a Dubai-based client seeking a Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit Manager. The role focuses on designing and implementing robust compliance and AML/financial-crime controls, governance, and regulatory engagement within a regulated FX/CFD broker environment.

Ideal candidate has 5–8 years in compliance, risk, or internal audit, with knowledge of retail FX/CFD regulations and regulator interactions.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years in compliance, risk or internal audit within a regulated FX or CFD brokerage.
• Working knowledge of regulation of retail FX and CFD brokers: client money and segregation, best execution, leverage and product rules, financial promotion, introducing-broker oversight, complaints handling and record keeping.
• Experience with monitoring and suspicious-transaction reporting; crypto-funded flows are advantageous.
• Direct experience with at least one regulator (FSC Mauritius, CySEC, FSCA, FCA, ASIC, DFSA, FSRA) including preparing returns and handling regulatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the compliance monitoring programme across conduct of business, onboarding, residency, marketing, client money, best execution, complaints handling and records.
• Write and maintain policy and procedure sets for a licensed Investment Dealer, aligned with FSC Mauritius rules.
• Own jurisdictional perimeter: restricted-country framework, residency and geolocation controls.
• Establish pre-approval for marketing and partner material and monitor partner channels.
• Build due-diligence and monitoring framework for introducing brokers and Master IBs; produce monthly distribution-conduct reports.
• Coordinate external audits, regulatory inspections and remediation tracker.
• Maintain regulator-log, prepare regulatory returns and support engagement with FSC and other regulators.
• Deliver role-based training and prepare Board-pack sections for governance.
