Job summary
Worood/Italco international LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Project Draughtsman with a strong background in engineering and interior fitout/joinery projects. You will prepare full technical drawings and blueprints for residential and commercial projects under the supervision of the Project Manager.
The role focuses on converting concepts into precise CAD drawings, maintaining all project drawings, and coordinating with designers, site teams, and suppliers to ensure feasibility and compliance
Qualifications
- 4+ years in interior fitout or joinery projects; home country experience considered.
- Bachelor's or diploma in Engineering or Interior Design with strong technical background.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp; able to read complex drawings.
- Arabic is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints for interior fitout and joinery projects.
- Convert conceptual designs and sketches into accurate CAD drawings.
- Manage and maintain all project drawings and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, designers, and site team to ensure drawings meet project specifications.
- Review and update drawings based on client or project manager feedback.
- Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and design specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure technical feasibility of designs.
- Support the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving.
- Prepare drawings for approvals, submissions, and on-site implementation.
