Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a draftsman in fit out or interior construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for interior fit out projects using CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and interpret design drawings and technical specifications to produce precise drafts.
• Update and maintain drawing documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve design issues and implement revisions effectively.
• Participate in site visits to verify dimensions and assess the practicality of designs when necessary.

• Proven experience as a draftsman in the fit out or interior construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction and fit out processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
