Job summary

IPL International Logistics FZE in Dubai is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to manage day-to-day logistics and shipment coordination. The role emphasizes cross-trade shipments, project logistics, and sea freight operations, with duties covering loading/unloading coordination, customs clearance, and documentation.

You will liaise with shipping lines, forwarders, transporters, customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and smooth cargo movement, while handling multiple shipments

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Experience in cross trading and project logistics preferred.
• Good knowledge of sea cargo, customs procedures, loading/unloading and transportation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments.
• UAE logistics/freight forwarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day logistics and shipment coordination.
• Coordinate loading and unloading services and transportation arrangements.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, customers and suppliers.
• Handle and coordinate customs clearance and documentation.
• Prepare and check shipping, cargo and customs-related documents.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas agents and customers for smooth cargo movement.
• Handle other logistics and operational tasks as required.
