Job summary

POWERCHINA JEPCC is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its engineering team in the UAE. You will perform hands-on civil design for power, utility, industrial and infrastructure projects and coordinate with electrical, structural, and MEP disciplines in a Dubai-based hub.

The role requires a strong background in grading, drainage, roads, foundations, and utilities with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, plus excellent English communication. UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Civil Design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design and detailed design for power, utility, industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare design drawings and calculations for site development and grading.
• Design roads, paving, drainage and stormwater systems.
• Design and coordinate underground utilities and general civil layouts.
• Prepare/review equipment foundations, building foundations and cable trenches.
• Prepare design calculations, technical specifications, drawings and BOQ/MTO.
• Coordinate design interfaces with electrical, structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Review vendor/subcontractor design drawings and technical submissions.
• Provide engineering support for design-related technical queries during project execution.
