Job summary

Websima DMCC in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial record-keeping, ensuring accurate recording of daily transactions and up-to-date records.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, perform reconciliations, and support monthly/year-end closings, with emphasis on UAE VAT records and filings. Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Dynamics 365 BC, is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in UAE accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and recording of financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Post payments and receipts
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations
• Record expenses and allocate costs
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
• Prepare VAT records and support VAT filings
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings
• Prepare accounting schedules and reports
• Maintain documentation for audits and tax purposes
• Support external auditors and tax advisers when required
