Job Description

We are a new driving school in Abu Dhabi, committed to delivering high-quality driver education. Our mission is to enhance road safety by providing comprehensive training programs that adhere to the highest standards.

We are seeking dedicated and patient Driving Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of driving principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. While prior experience as a driving instructor is preferred, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Duties:

• Deliver practical driving lessons to students of varying skill levels.
• Customize lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
• Teach students about vehicle controls, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Evaluate student progress through regular assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their driving skills.
• Prepare students for the Yard Test and in some cases, the UAE driving test, ensuring they meet all requirements.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans.
• Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated on the latest driving regulations and instructional techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements

• Age: Minimum 25 years old.
• Driving License: Valid UAE driving license for the category being instructed (e.g., light vehicle, heavy vehicle, motorcycle) held for at least 5 years.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and one other language such as Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or Malayalam is required.
• Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a driving instructor or in a related field such as teaching, coaching, or training is preferred but not essential
• Certifications: Holding a valid driving instructor certification is a plus.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners.
