Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a reliable driver to provide safe transportation of staff, equipment, and materials across various project sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of driving experience in the UAE, a valid manual driving license, and good knowledge of local roads. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, supporting maintenance needs, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• UAE Manual Driving License (Light Vehicle – No. 3)
• 2+ years’ driving experience in the UAE
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and landmarks
• Ability to handle basic vehicle troubleshooting and inspections
• English speaking, reading, and writing (basic Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Transport project materials, manpower, and equipment as scheduled
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned vehicle
• Record vehicle usage details and report issues or incidents
• Purchase spare parts/equipment when required
• Support maintenance team and respond to emergencies 24/7
• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws and company policies

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Transport project materials, manpower, and equipment as scheduled
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned vehicle
• Record vehicle usage details and report issues or incidents
• Purchase spare parts/equipment when required using petty cash
• Support maintenance team and respond to emergencies 24/7
