Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy Vehicle Driving and Transportation
• Safely operate heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, on assigned delivery routes.

Road Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Comply with applicable UAE road traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow safe driving practices when operating heavy commercial vehicles.
• Ensure cargo is secured appropriately for transportation.
• Observe company safety procedures during driving, loading and unloading activities.
• Exercise appropriate judgement when responding to road hazards or unexpected situations.

Delivery Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate delivery records and transportation logs.
• Complete required documentation for deliveries and pickups.
• Record relevant trip and delivery information according to company procedures.
• Report delivery delays, vehicle issues and other operational concerns.
• Ensure transportation records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Follow established company reporting requirements.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles in the UAE.
• Practical experience operating commercial trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Familiarity with delivery routes, transportation schedules and cargo handling procedures.
• Understanding of UAE traffic regulations and safe driving requirements.
