A leading logistics company seeks a Heavy Duty Driver for offshore transport in the oil and gas sector. This role involves ensuring vehicle maintenance, executing deliveries efficiently, and managing customer interactions in compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of offshore driving experience in the UAE and a matriculation certificate.

Job description

Driver, Heavy Duty, Oil & Gas - Offshore

• Ensuring vehicle is maintained properly and complaints, if any, are reported immediately to the supervisor and the workshop team.
• Prioritizing deliveries and suggesting improvements to the daily route plans.
• Reporting damages, excess / shortages if any, during delivery.
• Handling customer complaints in a pleasant and non-confrontational manner and in the agreed method and raise non-conformances where necessary.
• Completing the trip sheets with all relevant information and handing it over to the supervisor towards the end of every shift.
• Submitting delivery notes to OCC within 24 hours of delivery.
• Complying with the HSE requirements.
• Supervising the distribution assistants and reporting any misconduct to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensuring that traffic regulations are strictly observed while driving on the road and avoiding penalties and fines due to violations.
• Performing any other related duties or projects assigned by the supervisor to meet business needs.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Education: Matriculation or equivalent
• Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of offshore driving experience in UAE
