Job summary

Al Fahim in Sharjah is seeking a Warehouse Driver to ensure safe, timely transport of fashion merchandise between the central warehouse, retail stores, head office, suppliers, and other designated locations. The role also supports daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading and stock transfers.

You will perform vehicle checks, maintain records, and ensure stock documentation is accurate while complying with UAE traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• 2–3 years UAE driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading cartons.

Job description

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of fashion merchandise, accessories, and other company materials between the central warehouse, retail stores, head office, suppliers, and other designated locations. The role will also support daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading, stock transfers, returns, and basic warehouse activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery & Transportation

   Deliver and collect merchandise, stock, accessories, fixtures, and company materials between the warehouse and retail stores. Execute daily delivery schedules and ensure all deliveries are completed on time. Support inter-store stock transfers and movement of merchandise across the company's retail network. Collect returned, defective, damaged, or excess stock from retail stores and return it to the warehouse. Ensure fashion merchandise is handled carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement. Obtain delivery notes, transfer documents, and store acknowledgements/POD for all deliveries and collections. Coordinate with the Warehouse and Retail teams regarding delivery schedules and urgent stock requirements.

2. Warehouse Support

   Assist with loading and unloading cartons, merchandise, accessories, and warehouse materials. Check quantities and cartons before loading and ensure the correct stock is delivered to the correct location. Assist warehouse staff with picking, packing, sorting, tagging, and organizing stock when required. Support stock counts and basic inventory checks when required. Ensure returned merchandise is handed over to the warehouse team with the relevant documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading and dispatch areas.

3. Vehicle Management

   Conduct daily basic checks of the assigned vehicle, including tyres, fuel, lights, brakes, oil, and general condition. Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition. Report any vehicle breakdown, damage, maintenance requirement, or accident immediately. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and vehicle usage. Ensure the vehicle is used only for authorized company purposes.

4. Documentation & Compliance

   Maintain delivery notes, stock transfer documents, invoices, receipts, and proof of delivery. Ensure all stock movements are properly documented and acknowledged. Follow company warehouse, logistics, health & safety, and merchandise-handling procedures. Comply with UAE traffic laws and all company driving policies. Report any shortage, damage, discrepancy, or delivery issue immediately to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License Minimum 2–3 years of UAE driving experience.
• Previous experience in retail, fashion, warehouse, logistics, or distribution is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads and locations.
• Experience in delivering stock to multiple retail stores is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of delivery documentation and stock transfers.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading cartons.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
