Job Description

Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with experience in aluminum fabrication and installation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, including shop drawings and as-built drawings, for aluminum systems such as curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, handrails, and other architectural elements. This role requires close coordination with engineers, architects, and the production team to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for aluminum systems based on architectural and structural designs.
• Develop fabrication and installation drawings for aluminum facades, windows, doors, curtain walls, and other related systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project and client requirements.
• Modify and update drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
• Maintain proper documentation and file management of drawings in accordance with project standards.
• Review design inputs for clarity, completeness, and constructability before drafting.
• Assist in creating material take-offs and bill of quantities based on approved drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, specifications, and company policies.
• Participate in design meetings, technical discussions, and site visits as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D design software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with international and local standards related to aluminum and façade works.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
