Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman within a real estate developer, architectural consultancy, or construction company.
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority submission standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and technical drawings, layouts, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The role requires strong coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements, UAE regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare architectural and technical drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Revise drawings based on design updates, consultant comments, and site requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.

Design Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project teams for drawing integration and clash coordination.
• Assist in preparing submission drawings for authority approvals.
• Support design teams in converting concepts into detailed working drawings.

Site & Technical Support

• Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update records based on site modifications.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and execution details.

Authority & Compliance

• Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Assist in preparation of documents required for permit submissions and approvals.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman within a real estate developer, architectural consultancy, or construction company.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting/design software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and authority submission standards.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
