Job summary

The Double Backer Operator will oversee bonding, finishing, and board quality at the double backer stage of the corrugator line.

Based in Abu Dhabi, the role requires technical qualifications and hands-on experience to monitor and optimize bonding, moisture control, and production throughput while maintaining

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience as corrugator operator, with BHS preferred.
• Knowledge of board bonding and finishing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot process issues.
• Preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Double Backer section of corrugator (preferably BHS)
• Control bonding quality, temperature, pressure, and glue settings
• Ensure proper board alignment, flatness, and moisture control
• Monitor production speed and minimize wastage
• Conduct routine machine inspections and minor adjustments
• Coordinate with Single Facer and Dry End teams for smooth workflow
• Maintain production logs and quality records
• Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
