Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the general operation and cleanliness of student dormitories.
- Enforce dormitory policies and ensure compliance with university rules and regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for students residing in the dorms regarding concerns, maintenance issues, or emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate student check-in and check-out processes, including room assignments and inventories.
- Maintain accurate records of occupancy, incidents, and maintenance requests.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents within the residence halls, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Promote a healthy residential environment by organizing orientation sessions, awareness campaigns, or engagement activities.
- Liaise with campus security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide basic guidance and support to students regarding personal or interpersonal concerns, referring to counselors when necessary.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in student affairs, residence life, or facility supervision.
Skills
