Job Description

• Manage and control the flow of documents (incoming and outgoing) for projects.
• Maintain an organized filing system (electronic and hard copies) for all project documents and drawings.
• Ensure all documents are properly numbered, logged, and distributed.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to track revisions and updates to technical drawings.
• Assist in updating and modifying CAD drawings as per engineer instructions.
• Monitor document control procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Liaise with internal teams and external contractors/vendors to ensure proper documentation is received and shared.
• Prepare document transmittals, logs, and status reports as required.
• Archive project documentation upon completion.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) exposure to manage and maintain project documentation and support engineering teams with drawing control. The ideal candidate will ensure that all technical documents and drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed in accordance with company and project standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
