Job description

We are currently seeking a Document Controller - UAE National, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

About the role:

As a Document Controller, you will manage and maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with standards. You will work closely with project teams to support document workflows, version control, and secure archiving in a dynamic environment.

You will be a valued contributor from day one, supporting real projects and working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control project documentation according to company procedures
  • Distribute and retrieve documents with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain document registers, track revisions, approvals, and submissions
  • Support audits and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and archived
  • Collaborate with project teams for document compliance and accessibility
  • Assist in implementing and improving document control systems and processes

About you:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with document control systems and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience or internship in document control or administrative support
  • Strong work ethic and desire for professional growth
