This is a full-time (40 hours / week), long-term position, immediately available, requiring an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation is $200 USD / hour, totaling approximately $400,000 USD / year.

About the role

Revolutionize educational finance by leading the development of an AI-powered financial ecosystem. Focus on building innovative systems that automate and optimize financial processes across educational ventures, from tuition management to compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, AI-integrated financial infrastructure for education initiatives.
  • Design strategic financial workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze and improve financial systems, training AI and human teams.
  • Lead strategic budgeting, expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory compliance discussions.
  • Ensure seamless financial operations across all domains.

What you will not be doing

  • Managing traditional hierarchical finance departments.
  • Handling routine month-end closing or transaction approvals.
  • Using off-the-shelf solutions without innovation.
  • Creating delegation chains; leading by example in a dynamic environment.

Basic requirements

  • Financial certification (CPA, MBA, CFA, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in progressive financial leadership roles.
  • Executive-level finance experience with oversight of core operations.
  • Expertise in US GAAP and financial statement integration.
  • Experience managing complex ERP systems in multi-entity environments.
  • Proven track record with Big 4 audits.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Located within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.

  • Knowledge of U.S. K-12 education funding.
