Key Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher for dnata Catering, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to efficiently clean and organize the kitchen area, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your role involves operating commercial dishwashing machines, properly handling and storing clean dishes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace will contribute to the overall success and reputation of dnata Catering.

You Will

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follow established rules for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene, and observe security precautions mandated by management.
2. Load the dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers.
3. Ensure the dishwashing machine operates at proper temperature and has the necessary detergent and chemicals.
4. Unload the machine and place cleaned items in appropriate racks or storage containers.
5. Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks, and drawers, and deliver to storage areas.
6. Develop and follow a sanitation schedule to meet SOP frequency, ensuring all sanitation activities are documented per company policy.

Ideal Candidate

• Leads employees to ensure compliance with all safety, company, and regulatory procedures, and ensures sanitation processes meet FDA, USDA, and internal requirements.
• Ensures sanitation SOPs are followed and activities are documented.
• Has working knowledge of GMPs, sanitation procedures, and HACCP.

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

The salary for this position is $17.00 hourly with weekly pay. This is the base pay and does not include incentives. Final compensation considers location, experience, qualifications, and training.

You Have

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous dishwashing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-organization skills.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong prioritization skills and multitasking ability.

Additional Demands

Requires multitasking under time constraints, constant attention to detail, following instructions, punctuality, and responsiveness to management. Works quickly and strives for productivity.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stands, walks, reaches, and may lift up to 30 pounds. Uses proper safety procedures.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoors, with noise levels from minimal to loud.
