Job summary

EFG Holding in Dubai is seeking an experienced Structured Products Executive to design and execute Islamic and conventional products across asset classes, aligned with client requirements. You will lead risk frameworks, prepare marketing material, coordinate with Legal and Compliance, and present to Institutional & HNW clients while expanding counterparty relationships.

A CFA or equivalent qualification and 10+ years sell-side experience are essential; fluency in English and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance; CFA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a sell-side role (Structured Products, Investment Proposition).
• Proven track record of successful products and assets under management.
• Strong knowledge of multi-asset class analytics, financial modelling, quantitative analysis, asset allocation and derivatives.
• Excellent understanding of capital markets and payoffs across asset classes.
• Knowledge of finance and statistics to identify revenue opportunities and risk control.
• Excellent client management, presentation skills and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and deliver Islamic and conventional structured products for the firm in mass or private offerings across all asset classes.
• Design and implement process and risk management frameworks for the business, ensuring the function operates within defined standards.
• Develop products in line with Research calls and views to deliver actionable solutions for the clients; prepare marketing material.
• Develop and rollout ideas across asset class and segment weekly.
• Prepare and complete all documentation for offerings in coordination with Legal and Compliance; secure approvals from Compliance and Risk before rollout.
• Act as a product specialist in Institutional & HNW segments and participate in road shows and client calls to market and execute trade ideas.
• Develop and intensify counterparty relationships to reduce concentration and increase product breadth.
• Assist in generating acceptable audit ratings and satisfactory regulatory reviews.
• Conduct training for new products across the firm.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CTF rules and complete AML/CTF training.
• Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries promptly.

Job description

Purpose

Develop innovative structured products and strategies based on the requirements of clients.

Responsibilities

1. Design, execute and deliver Islamic and conventional structured products for the firm in mass or private offerings across all asset classes.
2. Design and implement process and risk management frameworks for the business, ensuring the function operates within defined standards.
3. Develop products in line with Research calls and views to deliver actionable solutions for the clients. Prepare and develop the marketing material for each product.
4. Develop and rollout ideas across asset class and segment on a weekly basis.
5. Prepare and complete all documentation for offerings in coordination with Legal and Compliance. Secure approvals from Compliance and Risk, in relation to regulatory and process issues prior to rollout.
6. Act as a product specialist in the Institutional & HNW segments and participate in road shows and client calls to market and execute trade ideas.
7. Develop and intensify counterparty relationships to reduce concentration and increase product breadth.
8. Assist in generating acceptable audit ratings and satisfactory regulatory reviews.
9. Conduct training for new products across the firm.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
11. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
12. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a CFA or equivalent qualification
2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar sell-side role (Structured Products, Investment Proposition, etc.) in a well-established financial institution or bank.
3. Proven track record of successful products and assets under management
4. Strong knowledge and experience with multi asset class technical skills such as financial modelling, quantitative analysis, asset allocation and derivatives.
5. Excellent understanding of capital markets and workings across all asset classes and payoffs.
6. Knowledge of finance and statistics, able to identify revenue enhancing/risk reducing trade opportunities.
7. Excellent client management skills; can understand and proactively address different clients’ needs.
8. Good numeric skills.
9. Excellent presentation skills.
10. Good command of English language.
11. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
12. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
