As we expand we're seeking a top-tier sales professional to drive growth in the region.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Director of Strategic Accounts to lead sales efforts across the UAE and broader Gulf region. You will be responsible for selling Medscape's suite of digital engagement solutions to senior brand managers, marketing teams, and agencies within the pharmaceutical industry.

This is a consultative sales role, requiring a deep understanding of pharma marketing, HCP engagement, and digital advertising. The ideal candidate has a strong network in the pharma sector, and a passion for innovative digital solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, pitch, and secure new business with pharmaceutical brand managers, digital marketing teams, and media agencies.
  • Build and expand key client relationships, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Sell a unique portfolio of digital solutions, including branded content, targeted media campaigns, virtual events, and educational programs.
  • Develop tailored, data-driven marketing strategies that align with industry regulations.
  • Represent Medscape at industry events and client meetings across the UAE and the Gulf region.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of proven success in selling digital marketing solutions to pharma brands (experience in medical devices or biotech is also considered).
  • Existing network of pharma brand managers, digital marketing teams, and media agencies in the UAE/GCC.
  • Strong understanding of pharma marketing regulations, digital advertising, and HCP engagement strategies.
  • Ability to build trusted, consultative relationships at a senior level.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Passion for digital innovation, content marketing, and data-driven strategies.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
