Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and creative Social Media Director to lead Atlantis Dubai’s expansive social media initiatives, managing a portfolio of 52 unique channels that represent our diverse range of brands. This role extends beyond strategy to hands-on creative content creation. Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing, Creative Director, and Brand Directors, your influence will span all aspects of our social media voice and visual narrative.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic planner and a creative executor with a comprehensive understanding of the ever-changing social media landscape. You should be agile enough to adapt quickly to social media trends and varying brand personalities within the Atlantis Dubai portfolio. A strong eye for photography and videography is also a must.

By taking on the role of Social Media Director at Atlantis Dubai, you will manage an innovative team while making a significant impact on shaping and broadcasting our brand narrative across digital platforms. Your creative skills and strategic insights will be key in enhancing brand engagement and loyalty.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and creatively manage a portfolio of 52 social media channels, each uniquely tailored to represent Atlantis Dubai’s diverse brand offerings.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee pioneering social media strategies that are both individually customised and cohesively aligned with broader marketing objectives.
  • Optimise each brand channel to maximise growth and engagement with unique and dynamic trategies across all social media channels across markets
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to produce compelling visual and textual content that resonates with our diverse target audiences.
  • Lead the Social Media Team in nurturing creativity and ensuring timely delivery of a rich and impactful social media calendar.
  • Direct the creative content creation process, including conceptualising posts, videos, stories, and other engaging content formats.
  • Oversee community management, actively engaging with audiences across all platforms to drive brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse social media metrics, translating data into actionable insights and opportunities for creative enhancement, posting optimization and follower growth strategies.
  • Define key performance indicators, monitor ROI, and manage the social media advertising budget.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and creative methods in social media, integrating them into our brand strategies as appropriate.
  • Maintain a pulse on social media trends, with the agility to implement quick response strategies as needed to keep our brands at the forefront of social conversation.
  • This role will also require working on some nights and weekends to ensure robust social media coverage for our diverse range of venues.
  • Manage a team of social media inthusiats, teach, nurture and grow their strategic knowledge of the channels and motivate them daily with ideas and projects.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
  • Proven experience (+5yrs) in a creative and managerial role within social media, ideally managing multiple channels in a diverse brand environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative talents in social media content creation and campaign execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, advertising options, and analytics tools including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Linkedin, Sprinklr (a plus).
  • A keen eye for photography and videography, capable of producing or directing visual content that complements our brands.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire creativity within a team – must have lead a team previously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting ideas and data convincingly.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and the ability to manage multiple timelines efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related creative field.
  • Able to manage tight deadlines and strong multi-tasking is required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment and achieve results with an accountability attitude
