General Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Director of Rooms and Resort Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for our integrated resort’s accommodations and leisure experiences. This role will focus on driving brand visibility and revenue across key guest services, including rooms, spa, retail, and destination offerings. The ideal candidate brings deep hospitality marketing and brand management expertise and excels in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Essential Duties

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and implement the overarching marketing strategy for the resort, with a focus on brand awareness, demand generation and advocacy. Covering planning, needs assessment, execution oversight and budget management.
  • Brand Management: Lead brand positioning and storytelling for rooms and resort offerings to align with the resort’s broader brand strategy and guest profile.
  • Digital and Social Media Campaigns Partner with the Digital and Social Media Directors to design, launch, and optimize integrated omnichannel marketing campaigns that enhance engagement and accelerate brand growth.
  • Stakeholder Management Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including tourism authorities and agencies, to ensure seamless collaboration and strategic alignment
  • Brand Development Strengthen and evolve the brand's identity and voice, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels (e.g. website, digital listings and printed collateral)
  • Content Creation Collaborate with creative services to plan and execute content development, encompassing copywriting, asset creation and photo/video production, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and audience engagement
  • Market Research & Analysis Utilize market research to understand consumer trends, competitor activities, and market needs. Use this data to inform strategy and adapt marketing efforts accordingly
  • Trade Marketing Work closely with the Sales team to develop and support on sales kits, brochures, digital content, EDMs, and partnership materials
  • Special Events Lead the ideation and execution of special events marketing to boost brand awareness and audience engagement
  • Subject Matter Expert Serve as the voice of the resort’s customers across the organization, providing marketing and guest experience insights to guide strategic decisions
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring to ensure the team's success

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a preference for experience in the luxury hospitality sector
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and implementing brand marketing strategies that enhance visibility, strengthen brand identity, and foster customer engagement
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, drive revenue, and make strategic decisions that align with business goals and enhance profitability
  • Proven success in dynamic, high-profile, and fast-paced environments, particularly in entrepreneurial or corporate settings
  • Expertise in understanding cultural nuances and creating content for a diverse, global audience
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and aesthetics
