Position Summary

The Visa Consulting and Analytics Director will sell and deliver risk consulting projects to Visa's key clients, helping to optimize their payment business performance and ensuring that Visa remains their preferred brand and a trusted business and marketing partner.

Principle Responsibilities / Key Results Area

This position is crucial for developing and scaling the Risk practice within Visa Consulting & Analytics, with a specific focus on the CISSE region. The Risk advisory practice assists Visa's clients in Fraud Risk and Credit Risk areas, aiming to help clients grow their payments and banking businesses with sustainable risk management.

The person will report jointly to the Head of Risk Consulting at Visa Consulting & Analytics CEMEA and work closely with the Head of Visa Consulting & Analytics in the CISSE region.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline for Risk consulting: Execute revenue targets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with top clients using Visa and external data analysis.
  • Develop project pitches and proposals in coordination with Account Executives, Visa Consulting & Analytics teams, and the Head of Risk Service Line in the CEMEA region.

Deliver risk consulting projects: Resolve complex strategic problems, supervise project delivery, manage internal and external teams, and ensure quality delivery.

  • Manage project teams and work collaboratively with other Visa groups to ensure a seamless client experience.

Participate in the development of the Risk Service line by contributing to new consulting offerings, white papers, and thought leadership pieces.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with minimal guidance.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in risk management and analytics within financial services, consulting, or banking sectors.
  • Deep exposure to credit and operational/fraud risk management in consumer and SME payments and banking.
  • Experience in management/strategy consulting is highly desirable.
  • Strong consulting and client engagement skills, problem-solving abilities, and credibility with clients and teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of Russian is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data synthesis and presentation.
  • Superior project management skills, with experience managing large client projects.
  • Previous experience in CISSE markets is preferred.

Languages Skills: Knowledge of Russian language is mandatory for this position.
