Job description

Mondrian Abu Dhabi is set to become an iconic destination in luxury, and we are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Revenue to join us during the pre-opening phase. This key role will shape the hotel’s revenue strategy, drive profitability, and ensure that Mondrian Abu Dhabi establishes itself as the premier choice for luxury hospitality. With your deep understanding of the market, innovative revenue management strategies, and ability to collaborate across teams, you will position the property for unparalleled success.

How your day looks like :

  • Develop and implement innovative revenue strategies that optimize all revenue-generating departments, including rooms, F&B, wellness, and events.
  • Collaborate with key leadership teams—Sales, Marketing, and PR—to drive a cohesive approach and integrate revenue-driving strategies across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the development and execution of pricing strategies, inventory management, and demand forecasting to maximize room revenue and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure that revenue objectives are achieved across all departments.
  • Continuously monitor competitor pricing and market trends, adjusting revenue strategies accordingly to remain competitive.
  • Lead the creation of promotional campaigns and packages that drive peak performance during high-demand periods.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align sales strategies and promotions with overall revenue goals.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide detailed analysis to senior management on revenue performance.
  • Implement new systems and tools to improve the efficiency of revenue management, from pricing to distribution.
  • Foster a data-driven culture, ensuring that all decisions are informed by insights and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue management, with at least 3 years in a Director-level role, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Experience working in a truly global work environment is essential.
  • Prior pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue across multiple departments, including rooms, F&B, and events.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Expertise in pricing strategies, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Solid understanding of global distribution systems (GDS), booking engines, and revenue management tools (e.g., RMS).
  • Experience working with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to create integrated strategies.
  • A keen understanding of the luxury hospitality market, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a focus on results.
