About The Role

The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Optimization will lead end-to-end supply chain strategies, focusing on global sourcing, warehousing, logistics, compliance, and digital platforms. This high-impact leadership role aims to enhance value, resilience, and innovation aligned with our luxury standards.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain, responsibilities include:

• Strategic Warehousing & Inventory Optimization: Lead the transition to a new third-party warehousing provider in JAFZA Free Zone, ensuring seamless operations. Develop initiatives to improve operational efficiency and inventory management, including system integration and space utilization.
• Global Freight & Forwarding Leadership: Develop and execute a logistics strategy focusing on Ex-Works (EXW) Incoterms, negotiate terms, and optimize freight performance.
• Regulatory Compliance & Certification: Oversee compliance with UAE import regulations, build supplier engagement processes, and manage certification standards.
• Global Sourcing & Logistics Innovation: Collaborate on food and beverage logistics, explore direct sourcing, and support global sourcing strategies to facilitate growth.
• Delivery Assurance & Supplier Performance: Improve order expediting processes, establish KPIs for supplier performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Digital Supply Chain Transformation: Drive digital innovation, automation, and system integrations to enhance efficiency and forecasting.
• Systems Integration & Technology Leadership: Lead procurement systems to ensure data integrity and support platform upgrades.
• Group Supply Chain Strategy & Alignment: Support supply chain collaboration across properties, harmonize demand planning, and propose shared logistics solutions.

About You

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with operational and strategic expertise.
• At least 5 years in hospitality or service industry supply chain (preferred).
• Deep understanding of GCC trade, warehousing, and logistics, including Free Zone operations.
• Proven expertise in Incoterms, global freight, and digital projects like WMS and ERP implementations.
• Strong leadership, change management, and executive influence skills.
