- Be responsible for achieving assigned targets for generating revenue and acquisition of HNI / UHNI private banking customers through assessing their risk tolerance and investment suitability and advising of appropriate products and services
- Provide a genuine & un-biased financial advisory to your clients thus becoming their first port of call on Offshore Private Banking business.
- Undertake credit responsibilities including but not limited to preparing Facility Applications, credit reviews, preparation of loan documentation and negotiation of credit terms
- Maintain regular contact with clients including regular face to face meetings where you will be expected to profile client’s risk and return aspirations and deliver a tailored portfolio of products, thus enhancing opportunities for client’s wealth maximization and increased AUM size.
- Monitor the performance of client accounts on regular basis to ensure that the all customer portfolio performance in line with the customer expectations. In case of any variation of portfolio performance, provide expert advisory to the client on his portfolio
- Identify and segment the target market for potential new business opportunities including building relationships with key clients, developing a referral network and influencers to augment client list and investment book
- Ensure all business is booked as per laid down procedures and guidelines after all due diligence is carried out with respect to regulatory requirements including but not limited to up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profile on each client
- Be responsible for delivery of client satisfaction and service quality levels by ensuring that the client's needs are met by performing administrative tasks required to fulfil client requirements.
- Continue building investment knowledge and be conversant with the full range of private banking services including but not limited to Trusts, asset management, banking and advisory services and to act as an effective trusted advisor in the delivery of these services
- Ensure all administrative tasks like submitting client’s meeting reports, periodic update of MIS is done in a timely manner.
- In addition to the duties listed, the employee may, from time to time, be required to perform other duties assigned by their manager
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and other requirements
- Proven track record of minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a client acquisition and management of wealth for clients
- Outstanding network in the private banking industry to support our growth strategy and to push the development agenda for revenue, NTB, NNM etc.
- Skills to acquire new High-Net-Worth and Ultra high-Net-Worth clients through referrals, own network and by actively approaching potential clients
- Strong financial product and technical competence in the understanding, development and delivery of holistic wealth planning solutions to clients
- First class presentation and communication skills; able to listen, guide and influence internal and external stakeholders
- A team player with the highest professional work ethic and standards who is decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure
- Forward thinking mindset for the development and advancement of digital banking solutions; a technologically savvy personality able to introduce innovative tools and solutions to clients
- High level of professional and personal integrity and compliance standards ensuring all work activities are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies
- MBA or degree from a university or an institute of higher education
