Director of Sales - GCC

LOCATION

Dusit International Corporate Office in Dubai

JOB OBJECTIVE

To drive travel trade sales performance across designated territories through strategic planning, market intelligence, client relationship management, and alignment with Dusit's global sales initiatives. This role ensures the brand's strong market positioning and revenue growth from the assigned regions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead sales and marketing activities within assigned territories and implement strategic monthly sales plans.
  2. Conduct market intelligence analysis and report on the competitive landscape and market opportunities.
  3. Proactively solicit business from travel agents, tour operators, PCOs, and luxury travel specialists.
  4. Identify and establish new client relationships, assessing their potential revenue contribution.
  5. Participate in promotional activities like familiarization trips, site inspections, and sales missions to achieve targets.
  6. Prepare monthly sales reports detailing activities, leads, and market insights.
  7. Organize and execute sales events and client engagement activities.
  8. Provide leadership and coordination of the company's sales functions. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and brand opportunities.
  9. Ensure consistency in achieving hotel revenue objectives, targeted RGI, and market positioning.
  10. Work closely with the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, Global Sales, Hotels, and AVP Revenue to align all sales efforts and activities for optimal performance.
  11. Provide coaching to Sales, PR/Marcom, and Events teams.
  12. Facilitate easier business interactions for customers.

REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATION

Reports to the Corporate Director of Global & Corporate/MICE. Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure activities are accomplished. Communicates effectively with guests, clients, business partners, and staff.

  • Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in hotel openings and a 5-star environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • A positive attitude toward challenges and a drive to excel.
  • Professional disposition with excellent interpersonal skills.
