Job description

Our client is looking for a Director of Sales and Business Development based in Dubai, UAE.

This role involves directing and leading all functions of Business Development, Commercial, Marketing, Customer Care departments, and Staffing Solutions business operations. The Director will identify and develop business opportunities by defining, developing, and negotiating business relationships. They will also lead and oversee all aspects of Marketing and Brand Positioning across various platforms to maximize the impact and value of the company's services, thereby enhancing brand position, value, and market share.

The job holder supports the organization's sustainability and growth through effective client relationship management and service delivery, aiming to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. They will also innovate in providing excellent service to clients, managing a turbulent business environment with tight deadlines and high customer satisfaction targets. Additionally, they will work to sustain and improve the company's market and commercial position within the competitive industry.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, preferably with a master's in management.
  • 20-25 years of relevant experience, including at least 8-10 years in senior client relations management roles. Experience in business development within the region, particularly in facility/property or security sectors, or governmental offices. Exposure to Facilities Management, especially in client and supplier relationship management, contracts management.
  • Management, planning, and organizational skills; Business communication; Client relationship management; Business acumen; Negotiation skills; Pipeline development and management; Knowledge of pricing, bids, contracts, and agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
