Director of Sales And Business Development

The Director of International Commercial Expansion will lead the activation and scaling of business across international markets, starting with DACH. You will be responsible for building go-to-market strategies, managing key stakeholder relationships, owning revenue growth, and leading a commercial team.

Role is based in Dubai

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead commercial market entry plans with a focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Represent the company in business forums, partner meetings, and strategic discussions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to adapt offerings for each market
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead the entire business development lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and successful project implementation
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with overall organizational objectives
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing international business development team, setting clear objectives and KPIs for success
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape, providing strategic guidance to the organization
  • Represent the company at international events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and foster industry connections
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory and cultural nuances within the DACH region

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior-level business development roles, with a focus on international markets
  • Experience in both, Partner Sales, and Direct Sales
  • Proven track record in entering new markets and successfully developing and executing respective sales strategies
  • Proven track record of success in building and leading international business development teams
  • Fluent in German with strong experience engaging DACH stakeholders
  • You’re confident working directly with founders, CEOs, or board-level executives
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to meet business objectives.
