Position: Director of Sales

Responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring sales production and adjusting activities, account coverage, and priorities to meet goals
  2. Planning, establishing goals, and managing the outbound sales office to generate qualified leads and service existing accounts
  3. Building communication and rapport with local authorities such as tourism boards, convention bureaus, airlines, and sales offices
  4. Assessing group business to maximize revenue from public space and meet banqueting budgets
  5. Developing the annual sales budget and executing sales programs with support from superiors
  6. Identifying and developing relationships with key business sources
  7. Ensuring understanding of sales department standards and goals
  8. Reviewing and finalizing the corporate section of the monthly sales report

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in sales, be computer literate, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
