Job Description
The Director of Sales is an ambassador of our engaging service and authentic local experiences in locations of unrivaled presence. Your leadership and vision will foster an engaged team focused on budget achievement, maximizing market share, operational results, and guest satisfaction.
Scope Of Responsibility
- Develop Key Account and Target Account lists across all market segments.
- Liaise with Global Sales to secure and activate Key Accounts.
- Create a Direct Sales Plan to target and activate Accounts.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, roadshows, and signature events.
- Train the sales team in customer relationship building efforts prior to hotel opening.
- Participate in strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and ensure environmental commitments, safety, and security.
- Achieve or surpass budgeted revenue and RevPAR index.
- Lead sales departments to meet financial and operational targets through effective organization, policies, and training.
- Demonstrate commitment to service excellence, foster a positive work environment, and motivate colleagues to deliver top service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Hotel Management degree with at least 2 years of hotel sales experience.
- Strategic, proactive, with strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
- Creative, professional leader with sound HR and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
