Job description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Sales is responsible to act as a sales specialist and be responsible to ensure the related revenue is maximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Prepare operational and financial sales department reports.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the sales team to achieve their targets.
  • Oversee the management, learning, and career development of the sales team.
  • Evaluating sales performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability
  • Developing and implementing sales plans, including action plans for lead generation and market penetration.

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in a similar role covering all segments (i.e. Corporate, Leisure & Government) is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years' of sales leadership experience.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
