Job summary

Roblox in Dubai seeks a Director of MENA Public Policy to shape engagement with regional policymakers on gaming, child safety, AI, privacy, and consumer protection.

You will lead policy strategy, monitor issues, advise internal teams, and build partnerships to support compliant, safe growth across the region.

Based in Dubai, you report to the Head of Public Policy, Europe and MENA, and play a pivotal role in Roblox's regional strategy and public affairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, IR, Media, Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with policymakers and stakeholders in MENA.
• Deep knowledge of MENA policymaking and public opinion processes.
• Experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

As the Director of MENA Public Policy you will develop and implement an engagement strategy with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across MENA. The successful candidate will oversee critical issues including, but not limited to, gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, driven to develop and execute creative strategies that advance Roblox’s business and priorities within the region. This position is based in Dubai and reports directly to the Head of Public Policy, Europe and MENA. The Director of MENA Public Policy will play a critical part in shaping Roblox's future in the country by establishing and executing effective public policy strategies. This role is instrumental in ensuring compliance, addressing policy issues, and fostering strong relationships with external partners, ultimately contributing to a safer and more engaging environment for Roblox's global community of developers and creators.

You Will

You Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in MENA
• Deep knowledge of the MENA policymaking and public opinion process
• Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
