Director of Operations – Digital & Innovation Hub

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

About the Opportunity

As Ras Al Khaimah accelerates its transformation into a premier destination for tourism, investment, and innovation, we are seeking a highly capable Director of Operations to ensure seamless day-to-day execution across our client's digital and innovation hub. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who thrives on rolling up their sleeves and ensuring that every aspect of the business runs like clockwork.

You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, taking ownership of operational processes, team coordination, and on-the-ground execution, keeping projects and initiatives on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all activities are executed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Coordinate effectively with leadership, department heads, and external partners to maintain alignment and drive results.
• Develop, implement, and refine processes, workflows, and systems to maximise efficiency and accountability.
• Monitor ongoing projects across the hub, proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Lead operational meetings, track deliverables, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress.
• Maintain and report on key operational metrics to the CEO and leadership team.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new team members to ensure they have what they need to succeed.
• Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement across all operational areas.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience (8+ years) in operational management roles, preferably within a start-up environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills and a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
• A hands-on approach, comfortable working “in the weeds” to resolve issues, implement solutions, and keep the business moving.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset in a rapidly changing environment.
