Job summary

Atco Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Head of Design & Estimation to lead engineering design and estimation for LV power distribution panels, ensuring compliance with IEC standards and manufacturing guidelines, and supporting project execution from inquiry through production.

You will manage the design and estimation team, review electrical drawings and schematics, prepare BOMs and cost estimates, coordinate with production, procurement and quality, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
Minimum 6 years of electrical design and estimation experience.
Experience in LV power distribution panels or similar products.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all engineering design activities related to LV power distribution panels.
Review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams and panel layouts.
Ensure designs comply with IEC standards, customer specs and manufacturing guidelines.
Coordinate with production, procurement, quality and project teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
Implement engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
